Destin Hot Yoga Offers Yin Yoga Classes

Destin Hot Yoga, recently voted the Best Yoga/Pilates/Fitness Facility in Destin for 2012, is now teaching classes in Yin Yoga. Teachers bring with them a variety of backgrounds, including Bikram yoga, barkan yoga, hot Vinyasa yoga, ashtanga yoga, Cruikshank yoga and kripalu yoga.

Yin Yoga is known as an intensive healing class, focusing on deep stretching and repairing connective tissues and muscle fascia. It is recommended for anyone, but especially helpful to those new to yoga or with physical limitations.

Owner Stephanie Penhollow shares that one of the most popular classes is the candlelight yoga class, touted for its intimacy, silence and grounding effects. Destin Hot Yoga also offers private holistic health coaching sessions and group workshops.

Location: 11275 Emerald Coast Pkwy. W., Ste. 9. For more information or a schedule of classes, call 850-547-6133, visit DestinHotYoga.org or find them on Facebook.
