PILATES CORE TRAINING
The instructors and practitioners at Pilates Core Training are structural experts who work to improve the architecture of their clients’ bodies. Whether they are working with someone through the therapeutic exercise programs of Pilates and GYROTONIC ® or through the manual therapies of Myofascial Release and Structural Integration, their goal is to create a balanced alignment of the body's complex web of connective tissues, muscles and bones that move in smoothly functioning relationships to each other. This creates real strength—free of stiffness and chronic stress. "We work with the general population looking for a better approach to fitness and wellness, and athletes looking for a competitive edge, as well as those needing more therapeutic attention," says owner Barbara Bruni. The studio offers private sessions as well as group classes in Pilates and GYROTONIC ® exercise.
"We value and respect the individual where they are and don’t try to fit them into a cookie-cutter environment," Bruni says. "We honor their journey to improve their health and well-being and work with them to achieve and surpass their goals. Everyone who starts this work inevitably says that they wish they knew about it years ago, because it is so life-changing. They come to realize that movement is just as important to feeling good as eating healthy. We love our clients!"
Pilates Core Training is also the host site to Barbara Bruni's Pilates and Beyond Pilates Instructor Teaching Training. It is a 450-hour holistic approach to a full comprehensive teacher training and is on the Pilates Method Alliance's Registry of Schools.
