Essential Oils Workshop Focuses on Boosting Immunity

The best way to fight seasonal illnesses is to prevent them altogether—and that means improving the body’s immunity and self-healing mechanisms. From 1 to 4 p.m. on August 17, ElemenTree Yoga, in Navarre, will host a dōTERRA Essential Oils “make and take” workshop designed to jump-start the immune-boosting process.

“It’s that time of year, when all those nasty seasonal illnesses start floating around, latching on to anybody and everyone,” says workshop teacher Lura Struzinski. “But there are natural ways to prepare yourself and support your body, and if one of those nasty bugs sneaks past all your precautions, I’ll explain how to soothe the symptoms.”

Participants will make and take home three winter immune wellness roller bottles, a bedtime pillow spray, a scratchy throat spray and a “germs away” spray, along with some diffuser blends to ease respiratory discomfort and mental stress.

“We’ll play with a variety of ways to use essential oils to support the body’s natural defenses,” Struzinski says. “There will be a prize drawing every 30 minutes and a final grand prize, for a combined retail value of more than $375.”

Cost: $30. Location: 8762 Ortega Park Dr., Navarre, FL (behind Beauty Supply Store). Register through the MindBody App, at or in person at the studio before or after yoga classes. For more information, call 850-374-0086.
