American Shaman Brings CBD Education, Experience to Fort Walton Beach

Whether it's slathering on topical serums or taste-testing edibles, the "shaman experience” at American Shaman CBD store is becoming a must-do in Fort Walton Beach, says owner Katharine Olson. “Between the essential oils, the eccentric, calming music and the charming aesthetics, our shop is an experience in sensory stimulation. We also offer a careful assessment of our customers, who range from local medical marijuana patients, to traveling snowbirds seeking a light “mood booster,” to pet parents, to name a few.”

More people are learning about the benefits of CBD, but between the technology advances and all the options, finding the right product can be overwhelming, Olson says. She wants American Shaman customers to leave the store feeling educated and confident that they purchased something that meets their unique needs.

“I brought this sought-after and compassionate brand of hemp-derived products to the Panhandle with a passionate vision to help people get well naturally, particularly in this prominent military community,” she says. “We offer discounts to all members of the armed forces, in addition to partnering with Healing For Heroes, a local support network for veterans and active-duty soldiers and their families. H4H links them with various resources, and it hosts open meetings at the store on topics like PTSD, family impact, loss and recovery and general well-being. Ultimately, it’s the coming together and connecting that’s most important.”
